My goal for 2012 is to become active in Farmers Markets. With the price of produce I think this will be a lucrative venture! I have 3 acres at my home and 10 acres at my dad's. Should be able to plant plenty of produce!
I think that is a wonderful plan! Good luck! Sometimes you can get subscribers that will buy whatever fresh produce you have each week (I read something about that).
Think of the difference fresh herbs would do at a restaurant.
Recently I saw comments on how you can start several vegetables by using their "head". Like carrots, celery, and much more. When I was a kid we used to put carrot heads in a small lid with water.
